Foscarini Inside

INSIDE is an application designed for those who want to enjoy new experiences within interactive environments. The project is being launched during the Milan DesignWeek in Milan with the company’s installation at the 2010 Salone del Mobile exhibition in via Tortona, Milan. The aim of the project INSIDE is to allow immersive video environments of the events to communicate with the internet and smartphones.

Foscarini, a brand leader within the sector for light design, is getting involved with new communication channels orientated towards research and technological innovation by experimenting with the new concept of emotional design and proposing innovative product variations, with sharp graphic images.

In this first step there are two main sections devoted to:
INSIDE 2010 which allows to see the trailer of the video installation of Superstudio Più and enjoy the feelings of the emotional design digital tunnel in via Tortona during the event for Milan Design Week
INFINITY 2009 which contains the short version of Infinity, the video installation of Salone 2009.

The tab bar menu proposes a set of iPhone capabilities:
WHERE, a locator which allows users to find via gps the nearest Foscarini retail store
VIDEO, a playlist linked to You Tube Foscarini’s archive which can be constantly updated
and EVENTS linked to main menu.

New features using iPhone functionality as games and gadget using blur and accelerator and video updates of Milan Events are also in the pipeline and yet to be released.
INSIDE is currently available in English and is fully compatible with both iPhone and iPod Touch.
